The hotel we stayed at was owned by a Cuban woman, and the food was a combination of Mexican and Cuban. Some of the highlights were the Margueritas (of course), and a fish enchilada dish with Chipotle cream sauce (yum!).Eric and I took a boat trip out to snorkel with a whale shark (beautiful) and the three of us took a very bumpy boat trip around the island to see some birds and a fresh water spring. Viola enjoyed getting suited up in her life vest on a particularly bumpy leg of the trip.
