Mike and Jess were visiting from Seattle with Nina and their new 7 month old Josephine, so we drove down to Carmel on the holiday Monday to meet them. It was overcast and chilly, but absolutely beautiful out on the beach, and Viola loved looking at the ocean.
The kids stayed up too late (10pm!!) and the adults ate a big meal and then it was back to reality on Tuesday morning.
